To begin with lets just say I'm not one that really obsesses over the internet or freaks out when I can't check my facebook frequently. This is my first blog and honestly don't really know what to write about.
After reading the recent Andrew Olmsted blog as well as the article about web logging, it is very interesting to see the different ways blogs are used. Whether its organizing notes and thoughts to aruguing a point made by another, blogs are there to express personal thoughts and to create discussion.
I feel that this blogging thing will really add a different and unique aspect to my english class this semester. I think as a class, much more discussion will go on about various topics on the blogs instead of in class just because of shyness and everything. Personally, I am much more comfortable writting my thoughts on a blog instead of discussing them amongst others. It will also be interesting to look at what others think and compare them all. Overall I am looking forward to this process and to see what it discussions it brings to the class table.
